Here’s a good look at the Buck “mystery” knife that is popping up around the country. Officially known as the Mesa 632.  As of October 8th, 2016 this knife does not appear on the Buck knife website and, to add to the mystery,  it seems to only be available at select Walmart stores.

I haven’t had the chance to use this knife in the field yet since I’m still evaluating a couple other brands of mid-sized fixed blades but I definitely wanted to get the word out about this great blade so the regular readers here can get to a Walmart and pick one up before they’re all gone…who knows, this knife may be collector’s item someday.

The photos below should do the rest of the talking.. this is one fine blade.. a nice cross between a bushcrafter and a fighter. Be sure to notice the slightly exposed pommel and the molded sheath… the belt loop can be switched for right or left hand use and the retention pressure is adjustable.

So on to the the pictures… the last picture shows the physical specs..One spec that most knifemakers miss is blade thickness so I will add that info right now…it’s .140″
